DRY VITAMIN A ACETATE 500 B is a light yellow, free-flowing particles (beadlets) containing min. 500,000 IU/g vitamin A (min. 172 mg/g vitamin A acetate equivalent to 150 mg/g of retinol) finely dispersed in a corn starch-coated matrix of gelatin and sucrose. It is suitable for food applications like multivitamin tablets, hard-gelatin capsules and dry food preparations. DRY VITAMIN A ACETATE 500 B meets all requirements of the USP, the FCC and the Ph. Eur. when tested according to these compendia. It provides vitamin A which is essential for vision, cell growth and development. The product is stable for 24 months from the date of manufacture in the unopened original container and at a temperature below 15 °C.
