IMCD Germany once again in the top 1% of the industry
In April 2024, IMCD Germany received the platinum rating from EcoVadis for the third time.
We are delighted to have achieved the best possible result for the third time in a row and to be in the top 1% of around 130,000 companies assessed! This year, for the first time, the medal was not awarded based on the points achieved but based on the percentile rank in a global comparison.
‘This once again underlines that IMCD Germany and the IMCD Group are on the right track to successfully meet the current and future challenges of a changing world, society and, above all, regulatory landscape.’ - Janina Masberg, Quality & Sustainability Manager IMCD Germany.
What is the EcoVadis rating?
The EcoVadis rating is a rating system that assesses companies in terms of their sustainability performance. EcoVadis is a leading provider of sustainability ratings for companies worldwide. The rating is based on a set of criteria covering various aspects of sustainability, such as environmental, social, ethical and supply chain. Companies are assessed using questionnaires provided by EcoVadis and their responses and other available data are analysed to produce an overall rating. The EcoVadis rating is used by companies to improve their sustainability performance, monitor their supply chains, and communicate more transparently about their sustainability efforts.
EcoVadis is one of the world's largest providers of sustainability ratings for companies. Founded in 2007, it has built a global network of more than 130,000 rated companies.
