A solid wax stick with a smooth, non-sticky glide. It melts upon application, providing a lightweight, flexible hold with a natural finish.

- Nourishing Care – revitalizes scalp and hair, while Cocoa Butter conditions for a soft, healthy look.

FORMULATORY EXPERTISE
Natural waxes were selected for their scalp and hair care benefits, being rich in oleic, linoleic and palmitic acids to support nourishment and moisturization. A hard vegetable oil was used to provide structural integrity and consistency to the stick format.
To achieve a firm stick with smooth glide, a natural elastomer gel was combined with a sensorial, oil-absorbing silica powder. This system stabilizes the wax and oil phases, contributes to a soft-touch finish, and supports film formation for water resistance and frizz control.
KEY FUNCTIONAL INGREDIENTS
GRANSENSE TC-38X/C – GRANT INDUSTRIES
A translucent gel with pale yellow color and viscosity ranging from 100,000-300,000 cPs. It is a patented bio-based next generation elastomer gel with natural polyester structure providing soft moisturizing feel, enhanced playtime and luminous appearance to formulations.

SONNENATURAL AFFINITY DURO – SONNEBORN
Emollient with a unique combination of properties, including non-greasy application, excellent moisture retention, and an occlusive after-feel that leaves skin feeling soft and luxurious.

COCOA BUTTER REFINED-RA MB – JAN DEKKER
A refined butter obtained from cocoa seeds by mechanical pressing with an extra white color. It is characterized by a high oxidative stability, ascribed to the presence of antioxidants.

RICE BRAN, WAX – O&3
Rice bran wax can be used in hair styling products to provide texture, hold, and conditioning properties. It helps to create definition and manageability in hairstyles.

Sunflower seed wax can be used in hair care products to provide conditioning and moisturizing benefits to the hair and scalp.

Dr Nora Schiemann
Regional Technical Manager IMCD Beauty & Personal Care Germany
Dr Nora Schiemann serves as Regional Technical Manager at IMCD Germany, responsible for all technical questions related to Personal Care and Cosmetics in the Region DACH.
After obtaining her PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, she began her career in 1993. She has held several roles in R&D, Technical Management and Supply Chain Management at Wella, P&G, Akzo Nobel and as a Product Manager at the TER Group.
In 2021, she and the IMCD team were awarded the 2nd Prize at the SEPAWA Innovation Awards.
