IMCD Germany opens new Life Science Hub in Cologne
In November 2025, IMCD Germany reopened our Food & Nutrition application laboratory at our headquarters in Cologne. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a fully operational test kitchen, the new facility enhances IMCD’s technical capabilities and provides a platform for innovation and collaboration in the food and beverage industry.
The Life Science Hub brings together three specialized laboratories under one roof:
- the newly opened Food & Nutrition lab,
- the Pharmaceutical Technical Centre, and
- the Beauty & Personal Care lab.
This proximity fosters interdisciplinary exchange and expands opportunities for product development.
The laboratory offers application support, technical consulting, and regulatory guidance – all aimed at developing innovative, market-ready solutions. Customers benefit from hands-on formulation development, access to a broad portfolio of ingredients from leading manufacturers, and direct connection to technical expertise.
