INDOPOL H-2100

INDOPOL H-2100 is a polybutene polymer with typical properties including a molecular weight of 2500, polydispersity index of 1.85, flash point above 270°C, turbidity below 4 NTU and acid number below 0.05 mg KOH/g. As a polymer with a pour point of 21°C and high viscosity index of 267, INDOPOL H-2100 can provide benefits in formulations requiring these properties. Its low sulfur content below 5 ppm and metals content below 1 ppm for Na, K and Fe also make INDOPOL H-2100 well-suited for products where purity is important. The refractive index of 1.504 and bromine number of 6.5 g Br2/100g indicate INDOPOL H-2100 may be useful in transparent gels or creams due to its optical properties. INDOPOL H-2100 is a high viscosity emollient with excellent adhesion and film former, contributing to water resistance and limiting TEWL.
