CARBOTHANE PC 3595A is a medical grade polycarbonate-based aliphatic Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) with a durometer hardness of 90A. It exhibits excellent oxidative stability in blood contact, inherently resists yellowing by aging and sterilization, and provides good mechanical performance. CARBOTHANE PC 3595A can be processed via extrusion and injection molding. It has an ultimate tensile strength of 9600 psi and ultimate elongation of 400% making it suitable for applications requiring high strength and flexibility. CARBOTHANE PC 3595A is well-suited for the Advanced Materials industry due to its chemical resistance, impact strength and biocompatibility - properties critical for developing high-performance materials for medical and healthcare applications. Due to their good oxidative and biocompatible properties CARBOTHANE grades are suitable for long-term implants.
