TECOFLEX EG-65D

TECOFLEX EG 65D is a medical grade aliphatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with a Shore D hardness of 65D. It offers an inherent UV stability that resists yellowing by aging and sterilization processes. TECOFLEX EG 65D has good mechanical properties with a tensile strength of 8,300 psi and an ultimate elongation of 360%. It also has a flexural modulus of 37,000 psi and a tensile modulus of 2,200 psi at 100% elongation making it suitable for applications requiring durability. TECOFLEX EG 65D's properties make it well-suited for use in the advanced materials industry for applications that undergo sterilization and require long-term UV resistance, high strength and flexibility like medical tubing, catheters and implant components.
