BELSIL DM 500

BELSIL DM 500 is a linear, non-reactive, unmodified polydimethylsiloxane characterized by low surface tension and high spreading coefficient. As a dimethicone, BELSIL DM 500 has a flexible polymer backbone which provides high permeability to gases like water vapor and oxygen, allowing skin respiration. These properties make BELSIL DM 500 well-suited as an emollient in personal care formulations. It can be used to adjust spreadability and provide a conditioning effect.
