BORCHERS DRY 0410

BORCHERS DRY 0410 is a manganese neo decanoate (40-60%) that functions as a cobalt-free primary drier in coating formulations. It plays a crucial role in promoting rapid surface drying and excellent through-drying properties, ensuring even drying of the applied film. Notably, it maintains its drying ability even after extended storage. The siccative metal's activity is enhanced by combining it with an organic drying accelerator. BORCHERS DRY 0410 is a suitable replacement for other primary driers, particularly cobalt siccatives. It finds application in clear coats or pigmented coating systems, especially in solvent-borne air-drying alkyd resin coatings, VOC-reduced, and high solids coatings systems. Recommended dosage ranges from 0.1 to 0.5% by weight based on the solid binder in clear coats and 0.1 to 0.3% by weight metal based on the solid binder in pigmented systems. It complies with FDA regulations.
