Versatic™ acid 10, also known as neodecanoic acid (C10-acid) is a synthetic, highly branched-C10 tertiary carboxylic acid developed by Hexion. It contains a total of 10 carbon atoms and is a water-like clear liquid at ambient temperature. Versatic acid 10 is a key intermediate that can be used in its acid form or converted into derivatives like acid chloride or metal salts.
