UJI TEA EXTRACT

Uji tea, a green tea from Uji, Kyoto and its adjacent area, is the most prestigious green tea brand in Japan. Tea cultivation in Uji is said to have its origins in the early 13th Century (Kamakura period). Since lots of geographic and climatic factors were ideal to tea cultivation, Uji rapidly expanded as the high quality tea production site in Japan.
