TECOFLEX EG-65D-B20

TECOFLEX EG 65D-B20 is a medical grade aliphatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane with 20% loading of barium sulfate. It offers a durometer hardness of 65D on the Shore scale. TECOFLEX EG 65D-B20 provides inherent UV stability that resists yellowing by aging and sterilization. It possesses good mechanical properties like flexural modulus of 27,000 psi and tensile modulus of 3,100 psi at 200% elongation making it suitable for applications in the advanced materials industry that requires radiopacity, durability and flexibility. Being radiopaque, TECOFLEX EG 65D-B20 allows visualization of components under imaging for quality inspection in manufacturing of advanced materials. TECOFLEX grades are well-konwn for their luxurious haptic and patient comfort from the in-body softening effect.
