SILFOAM ECO SC 369

SILFOAM® eco SC 369 is a medium viscosity antifoam agent that has an active ingredient content of 100 % and is based on an organically modified silicone fluid, based on renewable raw materials according to TÜV NORD Standard REDcert². In comparison to antifoam agents which are based on pure silicone fluids (PDMS), SILFOAM® eco SC 369 in general exhibits better compatibility with organic systems. SILFOAM® eco SC 369 may be added as it is at high shear rates or in the form of a dispersion. The degree of dilution should be as low as possible. Suitable dispersing agents include ethanol, 2-propanol, acetone and 2-ethyl hexanol. The exact dosage has to be determined in preliminary tests. We recommend starting with amounts between 0.02 and 0.5 %. *Product cannot be used in pharmaceutical formulations - only to be used in agrochemicals.
