BELSIL DM 100 is a linear, non-reactive, unmodified polydimethylsiloxane. It is characterized by low surface tension and a high spreading coefficient. Due to its flexible polymer backbone, BELSIL DM 100 has high permeability to gases which allows respiration. BELSIL DM 100 is used as an emollient in a broad range of formulations. It allows formulators to adjust spreadability and conditioning effects. Whitening and stickiness of products can be reduced and skin feel can be optimized.
