The polymers are synthesised in ethyl acetate using a peroxide to initiate free-radical polymerisation. Suspension stabilizer. Taste masking agent. Extended release agent. Thickener and rheology modifier. Long Flow. Bioadhesive, Mucoadhesive agent. Recommended for Solutions & suspensions, and Oral solids. Recommended concentrations: Oral solid dose – extended release: 5-10 wt%, Oral solid dose – immediate release: 0.5-3 wt%, Oral solutions & suspensions: 0.2-1 wt%
