FRUTALOSE OFP is a highly soluble powdered oligofructose produced by partial hydrolysis of chicory inulin. FRUTALOSE OFP is a food ingredient that provides benefits for food applications. As a prebiotic fiber, FRUTALOSE OFP supports the growth of beneficial gut bacteria. It is a polydisperse mixture of linear fructose polymers partly ended by a glucose molecule, coupled by means of β(2-1) bonds.
