IMCD High Protein Soups – product requirements and raw material challenges
Say goodbye to bland instant soups, unnecessary additives and meals that leave you hungry (soon after). Our soups combine high-quality vegetable proteins with natural ingredients to provide a wholesome, tasty and nutritious meal that keeps you satisfied for hours. Ideal for consumers who follow a macro-conscious diet, control their weight and value a healthy diet.
Product requirements
Our soups are high in protein, a source of fibre, quick and easy to prepare. They are ideal as a snack after training or a healthy meal in the office. A light and fresh alternative that is both filling and free from unnecessary additives.
Technical challenges
The challenge is to achieve an authentic “homemade” soup sensory experience and a pleasant mouthfeel in the product. Flavour off notes can arise when enriched with vegan proteins. In addition, the appearance should be similar to homemade products.
